Discovering the precise nature of this recently uncovered armored prototype has proved elusive. Initial attempts at dating point to ancient origins, perhaps even predating Orokin Empire.

The Excalibur Proto-Armor Skin is a limited-edition alternative skin Item for Excalibur.

Acquisition

The Excalibur Proto-Armor Skin was available to purchase for Script error: The function "Platinum" does not exist. 150. This skin is no longer available for purchase.

Equipping

To equip your newly bought skin, go into the 'Arsenal' page, then click on 'Appearance' tab, the skin will be under the section labeled 'Body'.

Notes

This skin was added in Update 12.6, and was only available for a week, from March 27, 2014 to April 2, 2014. The skin is currently no longer available in the Market.
This is the first alternative Body skin to completely change a Warframe's appearance with a different model; previous Immortal Body skins only changed the color patterns on a Warframe. It is also the first Body skin to come with its own exclusive helmet.
- Using the Proto-Armor Skin will prevent usage of Excalibur's default and alternate helmets.
Can be used with Excalibur Prime, completely replacing its appearance.
The Proto-Armor Skin is an exact copy of Hayden Tenno's suit from Digital Extreme's previous game Dark Sector. Codex hints the suit is before Orokin Age, further linking these two realms together.
