Fireball Frenzy is a Warframe Augment Mod for Ember that allows Fireball to be cast on allies, temporarily granting them additional Heat b Heat damage to all attacks, including Warframe abilities.

  • This mod can be acquired by attaining the rank of General under Steel Meridian, or the rank of Exalted under the Red Veil, and spending ReputationBlackx6425,000 to purchase.


  • As with all augments, cannot apply to allies whilst under the effect of a Radiation b Radiation Status Effect.
  • Damage bonus applies to all weapons and some Warframe abilities (check Smite Infusion notes for further information).
  • Applying this augment to an allies weapon (Or Companions) that already have a base element either installed or innate will fuse them.
    • This can arguably become a negative as the additional fire damage will not stack with Accelerant.
  • The extra damage granted by this mod isn't influenced by how much Fireball is charged.
  • This augment can fuse with other damage augment abilities such as Shock Trooper (e.g.: If one casts Fireball Frenzy (Heat b Heat) and Shock Trooper (Electricity b Electric) on a player, the final damage will be Radiation b Radiation).
    • The visual effects however will remain as two separate damage augments mods. (For example, Fireball Frenzy and Venom Dose will have a visual effect of a toxic and a fire effect in the same place)
  • Unlike regular Fireball, the augment cast has no AoE and must land directly on the intended target.
    • As long as you are aiming at your target while casting and slightly after casting the ability, the fireball will home in and apply the buff, regardless of the actual trajectory of the ball.
      • Freeze Force still needs to directly hit the target, however.
  • As with all elemental damage boosting augments, it can be cast on Companions, Specters, Mind Controlled enemies, Shadows, Saryn's Molt, Loki's Decoy, and Invasion Allies weapons.

  • Maximized Ability Duration increases buff duration to 122.4 seconds.
    • Has no negative effects on this ability.
  • Maximized Ability Efficiency reduces cost to 6.25 energy.
    • Reduces buff duration to 16 seconds.
  • Maximized Ability Range has no positive effects on this ability.
    • Reduces initial damage to 160, area damage to 60 and damage buff to 16%.
  • Maximized Ability Strength increases buff bonus to 373%, initial damage to 1492 and area damage to 559.5.
    • Without Energy Conversion, increases buff bonus to 323%, initial damage to 1292 and area damage to 484.5.
    • Increases cost to 38.75 energy.
    • Reduces buff duration to 29 seconds.

NOTE: Italic refers to the base ability of this augment


  • During high lag instances, casting upon an ally will sometimes still result in the default ability of Fireball, not applying its buff to the target.
  • Fireball Frenzy incorrectly lists the added damage type as Fire instead of Heat b Heat.
