Oberon blueprints used to be dropped on Everest, Earth by the old model of Councillor Vay Hek, until Update 13 where they are now dropped by Eximus units.
  • Compared to other Warframes, Oberon is the only one requiring two Orokin Cells and two Gallium
  • In the first concepts Oberon's Hallowed Ground ability was called Stairway to Heaven.
  • Oberon appears to share a similar physical build with Nekros, having slender arms and legs in comparison to most male Warframes.
  • Oberon is the second Warframe who has replaced a previous Warframe from a boss mission, being preceded by Valkyr replacing Volt.
  • Oberon has 2 separate idle animations for primary weapons.
  • Oberon is the 3rd tallest frame, only surpassed by Limbo and Chroma .
  • The curving spikes on Oberon's shoulders are considered customizable Armor parts, and will be removed if any other arm plates are used.

  • After the initial damage, the target emits 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 projectiles that will home in on enemies within a range of 5 / 7.5 / 10 / 12.5 meters over a duration of 12 seconds. Each projectile inflicts 75 / 85 / 100 / 150 Radiation b Radiation damage with a 100% Puncture b Weaken chance.
    • Damage and number of projectiles are affected by Power Strength, and affected enemies are staggered.
    • Weakened enemies deal 30% less damage over a duration of 6 seconds.
    • Projectile duration is affected by Power Duration, whereas Weakened duration is not.
    • Projectile range is affected by Power Range.

  • This is a one-handed ability, and as such it will not interrupt full actions such as reloading, shooting, or charging weapons.

Main article: Smite Infusion

Smite Infusion is a Warframe Augment Mod for Oberon that allows Smite to be cast on allies, temporarily granting them additional Radiation b Radiation damage to all attacks.

Maximization is a form of specialization: mods may be blended to result in values that vary between the top-end limits listed here. Click any maximized link to learn how to build it.

PaladinHallowedGroundAbility OberonHallowedGround
Hallowed Ground
Sanctifies the ground before Oberon with righteous fire, inflicting damage to any enemy that stands in the flames.
Strength:25 / 50 / 75 / 100 (damage)
5% / 10% / 15% / 20% (armor buff)
Duration:10 / 15 / 17 / 20 s
Range:5 / 6 / 7 / 7.5 m (length)
2 / 2 / 2.5 / 2.5 m (width)

  • Oberon sanctifies the ground with purifying flames that spread over an area 2 / 2 / 2.5 / 2.5 meters in width and 5 / 6 / 7 / 7.5 meters in length. Enemies within the area of effect are inflicted 25 / 50 / 75 / 100 Radiation b Radiation damage every half second over a duration of 10 / 15 / 17 / 20 seconds.
  • Allies within the area of effect will gain 5% / 10% / 15% / 20% armor, will have all existing Status Effects removed, and will gain status effect immunity.
    • Armor buff is affected by Power Strength.
    • Percentage is based off the affected Warframe's base armor value (e.g., with a rank 10 Steel Fiber, Oberon's base armor of 150 becomes 315, and with a rank 5 Intensify, Hallowed Ground's 20% armor bonus becomes 26%. The result is a buffed armor total of 370, 55 of which being from the buff.
    • Status effect immunity includes crowd-controlling effects such as Knockdowns and staggers. It does not include Eximus energy drains or Nauseous Crawler disables. Magnetic procs from Ancient Disrupters are resisted; however, Disrupters are still able to drain a small amount of energy with every attack.

Main article: Hallowed Eruption

Hallowed Eruption is a Warframe Augment Mod for Oberon. Upon casting Hallowed Ground again with a previous instance still active, the first one will detonate, dealing all remaining damage unto an AoE blast with a chance to deal Radiation b Radiation proc.

  • Increasing both Power Duration and Power Strength will result in 229 damage per tick over 51.4 seconds, while reducing length to 2.55 meters and width to 0.85 meters, and increasing the cost to 77.5 energy.
  • Can be very effective if used on stationary bosses.
  • Applying to the exits of doorways and before or after staircases, especially on mobile defense rooms, allows Oberon to be very effective.
  • Can have multiple instances of the ability overlapping in an area to increase damage.
  • Only use on areas you know the enemy will be for a while, or multiple enemies will pass over, 1 tick of damage is usually a waste of energy.
  • Hallowed Ground's proc immunity can be used to pass through Grineer Sensor Bars unharmed: simply cast Hallowed Ground through the magnetic field and walk over it.
    • It can also be used to approach the disruption field of Shock Eximus units safely, and prevent Ancient Disrupters from draining energy.
    • Because Hallowed Ground provides knockdown immunity, it can be cast through Corpus Laser Doors to allow safe passage.

Maximization is a form of specialization: mods may be blended to result in values that vary between the top-end limits listed here. Click any maximized link to learn how to build it. Hallowed Ground has a special quality in which Both Power Duration and Power Strength increase total damage.

  • Maximized Power Duration increases duration to 56.4 seconds.
    • Reduces length to 2.55 meters and width to 0.85 meters.
  • Maximized Power Efficiency reduces cost to 12.5 energy.
    • Reduces duration to 8 seconds.
  • Maximized Power Range increases length to 17.625 meters and width to 5.875 meters.
    • Reduces damage to 40 per tick and armor buff to 8%.
  • Maximized Power Strength increases damage to 284 per tick and armor buff to 56.8%.
    • Increases cost to 77.5 energy.
    • Reduces duration to 14.5 seconds.

PaladinRenewalAbility OberonRenewal
Healing waves of energy flow outward from Oberon to his allies, regenerating health over time.
Energy Drain: 5 s−1
Strength:50 / 75 / 100 / 125 (instant heal)
200 / 250 / 300 / 400 (gradual heal)
Duration:15 / 13 / 12 / 10 s (duration)
20% / 25% / 35% / 45% (bleedout slow)

  • Oberon emits healing orbs that travel toward teammates within an unrestricted range. On contact, the orbs instantly restore 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 health. Immediately after the initial heal, an additional 200 / 250 / 300 / 400 health is regenerated over a period of 15 / 13 / 12 / 10 seconds. Fully-healed allies will have all existing Status Effects removed.
    • Healing amounts are affected by Power Strength.
    • Healing time is affected inversely by Power Duration (i.e., mods increasing power duration will shorten the healing time).
      • Healing time is calculated as: Final Time = Base Time ÷ (1 + Power Duration).
    • Health recovery per second is Total Healing / Healing Duration. As such, without mods, the effect will heal at the rate of 13.3 / 19.2 / 25 / 40 health per second after the initial heal.
  • Incapacitated allies will have their bleedout time slowed by 20% / 25% / 35% / 45% for the ability's duration.
    • Bleedout slow is affected by Power Duration.
    • The way the slow affects the bleedout timer depends on the value of the percentage:
      • A percentage less than 100% will slow the timer as expected (e.g., a 45% slow will cause the timer to progress at 1 − 0.45 = 55% normal speed, and advancing 1 second on the timer will take ~1.82 seconds in real time).
      • A percentage equal to 100% will effectively pause the timer (i.e., the timer will progress at 1 − 1 = 0% normal speed).
      • A percentage greater than 100% will cause the timer to reverse (e.g., a 115.65% slow will cause the timer to progress at 1 − 1.1565 = −15.65% normal speed, and going back 1 second on the timer will take ~6.39 seconds in real time).
  • Renewal drains 5 energy per second; it will remain active so long as Oberon has energy, and the ability duration remains. Renewal will end if Oberon runs out of energy, if the ability duration ends, if the maximum health gain per player is reached, or if deactivated by pressing the ability key again (default 3).
    • Activation and channeling energy costs are affected by Power Efficiency.
    • Energy Siphon is deactivated while Renewal is being channeled.
    • Renewal will continue to drain energy while the healing orbs travel.
  • The effects of Renewal are applied to Oberon, Tenno, and Companions.
  • Does not regenerate health of Objectives, Hostages, Shadows, or Specters.
  • Does not stack with the same ability; instead, it restarts the timer.
    • However, it can be cast repeatedly to quickly gain health from the initial instant heal.

  • Since buff duration is inversely affected by Power Duration mods, negative duration mods such as Fleeting Expertise can be used to slow bleedout timers for longer, but at a cost to the ability's heal over time rate.
  • Natural Talent affects the speed of the projectiles in addition to the cast speed.

Maximization is a form of specialization: mods may be blended to result in values that vary between the top-end limits listed here. Click any maximized link to learn how to build it.

  • Maximized Power Duration reduces duration to ~3.5 seconds and increases bleedout slow to 126.9%.
    • Has no negative effect on this ability.
    • Increases health regeneration rate to 102.8 health per second.
  • Maximized Power Efficiency reduces activation cost to 6.25 energy and channeling cost to 1.25 energy per second.
    • Increases duration to 25 seconds and reduces bleedout slow to 18%.
    • Reduces health regeneration rate to 16 health per second.
  • Maximized Power Range has no positive effect on this ability.
    • Reduces instant heal to 50 health and gradual heal to 160.
    • Reduces health regeneration rate to 16 health per second.
  • Maximized Power Strength increases instant heal to 286.25 health and gradual heal to 916 health.
    • Increases activation cost to 38.75 energy and channeling cost to 7.75 energy per second.
    • Increases health regeneration rate to 91.6 health per second.

  • When channeling Renewal, the user cannot use any other abilities and melee weapon (fixed as of Hotfix

PaladinReckoningAbility OberonReckoning
Quickly lifts enemies into the air and then hurls them down with conviction. Enemies who succumb to this power have a chance to spawn a Health Sphere.
Strength:500 / 750 / 1000 / 1250 (damage)
25% / 35% / 45% / 50% (health orb chance)
Duration:1 / 2 / 3 / 4 s (blind duration)
Range:8 / 10 / 12 / 15 m (cast radius)
2.5 / 3 / 3.5 / 4 m (blind radius)

  • Oberon lifts and violently slams enemies to the ground within a radius of 8 / 10 / 12 / 15 meters, inflicting 500 / 750 / 1000 / 1250 damage with a 100% Radiation bconfusion chance to each affected enemy. On death, enemies have a 25% / 35% / 45% / 50% chance of spawning a Health Orb.
    • Damage is 50% Impact b Impact and 50% Radiation b Radiation.
    • Damage is affected by Power Strength, and each affected enemy suffers a knockdown.
    • Confusion causes affected enemies to attack the nearest unit and become targeted by their allies for 12 seconds.
    • Cast radius is affected by Power Range.
  • Affected enemies that survive the damage of the initial cast will emit a blinding flash of light upon impact with the ground. Nearby enemies that were not caught by the initial cast will be blinded for 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 seconds within a radius of 2.5 / 3 / 3.5 / 4 meters from each flash.
  • Can hit enemies above and below the player.

Main article: Hallowed Reckoning

Hallowed Reckoning is a Warframe Augment Mod for Oberon that makes enemies killed by Reckoning create fields of Hallowed Ground that deal damage-over-time to enemies standing in them, while providing armor to allies.

  • With Equilibrium equipped, dropped health orbs can meet or exceed the ability's energy cost, provided enough enemies are hit.

Maximization is a form of specialization: mods may be blended to result in values that vary between the top-end limits listed here. Click any maximized link to learn how to build it.

  • Occasionally, if Oberon is knocked down just as Reckoning is cast, enemies will be attacked as normal without Oberon doing the skill animation. Only upon standing up from being previously knocked down does Oberon then perform the animation.
  • Casting Smite then immediately casting Reckoning removes the casting animation of Reckoning, allowing for player movement while casting Reckoning.
  • Rarely, spamming the ability on a group of enemies will make some enemies hover permanently in the air, much to the effect of Bastille. This may be caused by an enemy that is being lifted is struck again by the power but not brought down.

Oberon is a kind of hybrid Warframe that relies on both offensive and supportive capabilities. Unlike Excalibur for example, Oberon has healing capabilities in trade of fight-flight abilities such as Slash Dash for Renewal, more so making Oberon an even more versatile frame.

Oberon has slightly more health than average frames which allows him to take more damage, and also allows him to cast Renewal on himself, allowing the extra health to give him time to cast the power.

Oberon can be played in unique ways, depending on the mods applied. Some users might want to try maxing out the health and using Oberon's healing abilites, or increasing the range and efficiency to make Reckoning more of a crowd-controlling ability.
