A finely tuned instrument of assassination.

The Rakta Cernos is a modified Cernos bow exclusively available to the Red Veil. It features the fastest charge time of all bows, increased base damage, and innate Blight effect, at the expense of slightly lower critical chance and status chance.

AcquisitionEdit

  • The Rakta Cernos can be acquired by reaching the Rank of Exalted with the Red Veil, and spending ReputationBlackx64125,000 to purchase. As with all Syndicate Weapons, the Rakta Cernos cannot be chosen as the free offering upon ranking up to Exalted rank.
  • Syndicate weapons can also be acquired via Trading, but only for unranked copies without Forma and Orokin Catalyst installed.
  • Players must have a Mastery Rank of at least 12 to acquire the Rakta Cernos, either through trading or through the Syndicates themselves.

CharacteristicsEdit

This weapon deals primarily Impact b Impact damage.

Advantages:

  • High Impact b Impact damage – effective against shields.
  • Very high critical chance.
  • Good status chance.
  • Shortest charge time of all bows and all chargeable weapons.
  • Silent.

  • Tied with the Daikyu for the fastest arrow flight speed of all bows.
    • Arrows have a low arc due to flight speed.

  • On kill, bodies will follow the arrow that killed them, damaging anyone in their path and pinning the corpse to walls.
  • Can use the bow-exclusive Thunderbolt mod.
  • Innate Blight effect.
  • Two innate Madurai Pol and one Naramon Pol polarities.

Disadvantages:

  • Low Puncture b Puncture and Slash b Slash damage – less effective against armor and health.

  • Has a unique holster style where the bow is upside down on the Warframe's back instead of being slung across its shoulder.

TipsEdit

  • The Rakta Cernos can achieve a critical hit chance of 100% by equipping both a fully-ranked Point Strike and a Critical Delay ranked up to at least level 4.

TriviaEdit

  • The word "Rakta" can be traced back to the Marathi language, mainly spoken in west India, meaning "blood".
