Notes
- Added in Update 10.0 (2013-09-13).
- You are not required to have your melee weapon out and in-hand to auto-parry.
- This mod will not block attacks coming from behind you, Railgun MOA shots, Leaper jump attacks and Volatile Runner explosions.
- This mod, when equipped, will auto block Captain Vor's laser, like in the PS4 trailer.
- When activated from a melee attack, the activation strike will not be blocked. When an enemy hits you with a melee weapon, this mod will not block that shot, only shots/strikes after it is activated.
- Damage from a surprisingly large range of sources can be blocked, including Phorid's Sonic Scream as well as Laser Barriers.
- When triggered, the blocking animation will briefly prevent other actions such as firing and will cancel any drawn bows.
Bugs
- If equipped and activated during the first two Mastery Tests, the animation will trigger with an invisible melee weapon (as none is worn) and render the player unable to complete the test, as they cannot switch back to the weapon required to complete the test.
