In order to unlock this quest, the player must complete the Jupiter to Europa Junction. Upon completion, the player will be awarded with the The Limbo Theorem Quest, which can be started from the Codex.

Nonsense: Syrtis, Mars[]

Ordis sends the player an inbox message, confused about the incomplete Limbo Theorem. The message contains a blueprint for the Limbo Neuroptics Theorem Key, which requires three Proof Fragments to craft.

He then directs the player to Syrtis, Mars to tap into Grineer communication towers in the hopes of successfully scanning for the Limbo signal. This is a single round Archwing Interception mission. However, the primary objective of the mission is not in the Interception mission itself (which provides no reward), but in collecting Proof Fragments that drop from killed enemies, which resemble Energy Orbs.

1 Proof Fragment are required to craft a Limbo Theorem key, but players are not prompted that they've collected enough meaning they must manually check the Foundry. A total of 3 fragments are required for the whole quest, and players are allowed to repeat the mission until the quest is complete to continue farming for fragments. Fragments can be traded between players.

While crafting, Ordis initially expresses curiosity of the Limbo Theorem, only to be annoyed by even more nonsense the supposed evidence provided. He will lead the player to the only coordinate that he managed to obtain from the proof.

Rift Plane: Cambria, Earth[]

The player is directed to Cambria, Earth on an Excavation mission to check out Ordis' lead. This mission requires the player to excavate 300 Cryotic (3 full extractors), after which the player is rewarded with the Limbo Neuroptics Blueprint. Once obtained, Ordis will rethink his opinion on the Theorem and will attempt to make more sense of it.

Upon returning to the Orbiter, Ordis discovers a Limbo Systems Theorem. The player must return to Syrtis, Mars to gather 1 more Proof Fragments to craft it.

After Limbo Systems Theorem is completed, Ordis will send the player another coordinate. He will also extrapolate his findings about the existence of the Rift, and its connection to Limbo.

Magician of Math: Martialis, Mars[]

The player will undertake another Excavation mission to extract the Limbo Systems Blueprint on Martialis, Mars.

After completing the mission, the player will receive a Limbo Chassis Theorem. Once again, it requires 1 Proof Fragments. Meanwhile, Ordis rethinks his opinion on the theorem and shows anticipation.

Final Jump: Ose, Europa[]

The player is finally directed to Ose, Europa to conduct a final Excavation mission in search of Limbo Chassis Blueprint.

Ordis eagerly reads the rest of the Theorem, only to find out Limbo made a grave miscalculation that ended in disaster, and urges the player to exercise caution with the Warframe. The quest is considered completed and player can start building LimboIcon272 Limbo with his blueprint from the Market.

Notes[]

  • It is not possible to obtain Limbo's components by joining the Excavation missions that reward his parts without actively doing the Quest.
