Dual mods are added in Update 9 from nightmare mode. Just got Accelerated Blast (Shotgun, V slot) from Elion, Mercury. It's rare and adds 15% fire rate and armor piercing. Initial cost is 6, and it has 3 levels.

The mission was a rescue, and my health was draining at ~1/sec (I had the new healing Aura, so I don't know if that affected it). Kill enemies to get health, also low gravity.

Running the Hyena mission, health was constantly draining in that too. Not sure if anyone else had the healing aura,I certainly didnt. Also picked up the wildfire rifle mod adds +5% mag capacity and +15% fire damage, its a V slot rare with an initial cost of 6 and has 3 levels

Some of the Nightmare missions have "hindering" effects, such as health drain for example. If you don't keep killing enemies then your health will drain out.

If you look at the auras, the arrows point up. I found out that if you put them in their polarization slot it takes up DOUBLE the mod capacity where as if it has a down arrow it does the usual thing and use half the mod slots. Why they would do this is totally beyond me though.

If you put the up arrow in the correct polarity, the cost of the mod is double and added to your total.

So if you had 10 mod capacity left and you matched a Sniper Scavanger with a cost of 5 with its polarity, the cost (5) will be doubled (10) and you will gain 10 mod capacity. So now, you will have 20 mod capacity instead of only having 10.

This is my post. Correction. If you do not match polarity, then your cost will be reduced by one but still added to your current mod capacity. So basically Auras now do not cost anything and simply gives you more capacity. Up arrow means the number will be added to your mod capacity and a down arrow will subtract the number from your current mod capacity.
