With the new heavy melee buff i thought it was a good time to do some math on scindo prime's dps.

well, some testing first. (repeated the combo for 60 seconds, counted hits within the 60 seconds, did not do the stagger)

results; scindo prime, cleaving whirlwind, broken bull combo.

normal attack speed: 82 hits/min, 1.37hits/sec. damage of 292hits/min, 4.87 hits/sec

with max fury: 103 hits/min, 1.72 hits/sec. damage of 370hits/min, 6.17 hits/sec

with max spoiled strike: 68 hits/min, 1.13 hits/sec. damage of 242hits/min, 4.03 hits/sec

by creating a graph for attack speed vs hits/sec we can extrapolate to any attack speed value we choose and get a hits/sec value from it.

for the attack speed value we want i'm gonna use this build, it probably gives us the highest possible dps.

lets put the 3 beserker stack attack speed number (2.09) into our graph, from this we get a hits/sec value of 2.29.

2.29x 60=~ 137

137 hits would contain 8 full combos and 9 hits of the partial combo

so 18 normal hits and 119 spin to win x4 hits.

damage of 494 hits/min

damage of 8.23 hits/sec

our build has an average damage per hit of 1847 without channeling

8.23 hits/sec x 2206 damage/hit

18,159 sustained dps...

the ex highest dps melee is dakra prime, but with a 6.5k dps, it's left in the dust.

DE, while buffing heavy melees is good, i think you went a tad too far....

Edit: thanks to powerfight5 pointing out that organ shatter would raise the dps.
