Heyo again! Avi here. I would like to take a moment to rant with you, Wiki, about the most terrible weapons in this wonderful, wonderful game.
Here are the rules:
-The weapon of choice must NOT be considered a 'beginner' weapon. This excludes the Braton series, the Lato series, the Skana series, and the Cronus from being discussed.
-You must provide factual evidence as to the weapon's inability to perform.
-It can not be a sniper weapon, because there is a buff in the works on those puppies.

The weapon I've been directing my undiluted hatred at recently is the Spectra. Its codex description reads as follows:
While its intended design is for deep space construction, the concentrated laser beam of the Spectra is highly effective against organic and synthetic enemies.
Here is what it should read as:
While its intended design is for deep space construction, the concentrated laser beam of the Spectra is.
That's all. It just is.' Base damage of 8 per tick. Hard range of 15 meters. 5 seconds of fire time before the clip is empty.
Sounds horrid right? But here's the kicker:
This thing is clan tech.
It would be alright if it was just a weapon, like the almost as bad Kraken pistol. However, you have to sink 85,000 credits in this(counting the fieldron research).
In the field this thing just sucks. The hard range combined with terrible damage makes the Spectra useless, especially if you're downed.
Proposed fix:
-Give it more damage, say, 14 per tick.
-Increase ticks/hard range(25 meters like the Flux Rifle maybe).
-Decrease the speed at which the 'cell' runs dry.
So there. Imminent explosion of loathing abated.
