I got this idea that I would love to see in warframe, and could easily fit the lore and gameplay mechanics, would add an element of surprise and challenge and variety
I envision a group of tenno on a (random) mission while suddenly a lotus communication comes in stating that unidentified hostiles approach at high speed. The tenno can feel a collision not far from them, and the whole place shakes, as critical alert state is engaged. As the tenno get closer to the source of all this they start coming across some ruthless and rugged warriors, veterans of many battles, not to be trifled with! These are raiders who steal from grineer and corpus alike, and sometimes even from the ancient orokin derelicts. They are hostile to all factions but thei…

In the last livestream (L13) we were told that Update 10 would be going live THIS WEEK!
We're all eager to see what changes will take place, what new content will be introduced with U10.0 and of course, everybody is looking forward to try the new warframe, the hot ass piece of undead awesomeness Necro (which name has not been confirmed yet). His abilities have been revealed in livestream 13 so if you haven't checked that out, what are you waiting for?
It also seems like a new sentinel is almost ready for release, as well as a new tileset, but we can't say for sure if it will come with U10.0 or a later version. The new sentinel has seen next to no official information released outside of the design council, although a few leaks here and ther…Read more >
I've noticed that capture alert missions always describe the capture target differently, for example, the two last capture alerts (at the time i'm writing this ofc) say "enemy relic hunter located" and "enemy assassin" located. Of course every time you get to the target he's nothing but an half assed corpus guy without his helmet on, which makes it so whatever description is given of him to be completely pointless. Besides he never fights back, no matter what he is described as... (By now you should have a pretty good idea of where i'm going with this)
how about make them look lke what they are supposed to be? make them look like a cool assassin, give them some fighting power, make a miniboss out of them. this way capture missions would be …Read more >
it does look like so, found this while looking for pictures of the necro warframe on google...Read more >
On the critical hit mechanic page in the wiki Critical Hit (Mechanic) there are two equations portraying the calculation method of critical hits and damage.
They are as follows:
Critical chance = (base critical rate) * (1 + mod value)
Critical damage = (final damage) * (base critical multiplier) * (1 + mod value)
Taking the Latron (40.0 Base Dmg/7.5% Base Crit Chance) with a maxed out Point Strike (+150% Crit Chance) as an example the equations would look like this
Critical chance = (7,5) * (1 + 150) = 1132,5 ???
Critical damage = (40.0) * (7,5) * (1 + 150) = 45300 ???
My maths must be wrong... Would someone care to explain?Read more >
