So I recently obtained an unruly amount of the mod, Suppress. This mod, as I am sure you are aware, reduces your secondary weapon's noise by 25% per rank up to 100%. For the sake of fun, I equipped it to my Dual Vastos as they are my "loudest" secondary weapon. To my delight they didn't reduce the actual amount of sound the weapon makes, just how far they alert enemies from. As I was power levelling my Nekros on survival I didn't get much of a chance to test their worth until now. I decided to play a mission I would have no chance with going in all-guns-blazing. I played a game of solo Ambulas assassination, as Loki (no sentinel). I found it quite astonishing, as I could turn invisible and unload an entire clip into an enemy and they would…Read more >
So with update 10, they added in more visible stats for warframes, wepaons, and sentinels. A long standing sentinel mod is Steel Fibre (of the sentinel variant) which grants +10% armour per rank.
In update 10, it made it quite clear that all sentinels have 0 base armour. I have equipped on most of my sentinels +50% armour mods. It has dawned on me that 100% + 50% of 0, is sitll 0. Which begs the question, why do we have Steel Fibre for sentinels if it is completely useless? Even more so, as to why this hasn't been brought up before as Steel Fibre (sentinel) has been around as long as sentinels have.Read more >
First things first, we all know that Warframe is currently in Beta. We're all Beta testing the game. Of course it's a fun game, but one thing that is coming up alot is a long term quality of life enhancement to make the game less repetitive the longer the game is played. This isn't about adding new warframes or weapons. So here's the pitch:
The game is very repetitive at higher total play hours due to a number of factors. These include: tilesets, enemy units, mission types and gameplay factors.
- DE is constantly working on new tilesets and additional tiles for already existing tilesets. Therefore this isn't so much of a big deal, but what would YOU want to see in a tileset?
- Of course, many people speculate that DE will rework every boss in the…
Watching Livestream #12, the dev team shared some interesting thoughts on mods that enhance your mobility. This comes after people are calling for Warframes to get jetpacks (like a Grineer Helion's). The dev team said specifically that something similar to jetpacks are not off the table, but they wouldn't specifically be jetpacks (to fit the theme of space ninjas). They are thinking of releasing a mod/tool (possibly weapon?) that gives your Warframe a grappling hook. The exact details of how this would work is unknown, but the team said that it fit the theme and had a good feel. In this blog post I will list some pros and cons of different mobility enhancer ideas.
Very fitting for the theme of space ninjas, and could possibly allow slower w…
