    The Power Creep in the new Excalibur re-design is so blatant

    Just even looking at the new stats, I can see that this change was made with no consideration towards the balance of the game as a whole. 225 armor? Seriously? That's a whole 20% more than Frost and Rhino, who are supposed to be the "tanky" frames of game and compensate by being slow. Clearly the devs just thought "Oh hey Excalibur needs to be more durable, so let's just give him some more points of that game-breaking unbalanced armor system and call it a day," instead of considering the deeper reason why Excalibur (and Ember) suddenly became too squishy instead of being appropriately balanced and slightly fragile, respectively.

    Most of them are just straight upgrades. What gives?

    I thought augments were going to be the devs implementation of the original concept of Alternate Abilities for each frame, but they just turned out to be random, straight-up (albeit a bit situational) buffs to them. Some are worth the mod slot, some aren't. Talk about lack of creativity...

    Wouldn't it be better if augments fundamentally changed some part of how the ability worked and had both upsides and downsides? And by downsides, I don't mean lazily reducing a stat like corrupted mods. I mean that the actual Mechanic introduced by the augment mod should be beneficial in some situations and detrimental in others.

    First of all, why for the love of Lotus is the entire playerbase allergic to skill trees? Every time someone brings up mention of skill trees it gets immediately shot down because "We had skill trees before. We removed them for a reason." As if the previous skill trees somehow represented all skill trees in general.

    Well let me tell you the reason why the skill trees were removed. It's because they sucked, pure and simple. In my experience at least, they were the worst skill trees I had ever seen in a game. For those of you who can't be bothered to google, here's an image:

    So, today we are going to talk about Super Jump. With the news that Super Jump is being replaced, I figure that this is the last chance for me to state this message.

    First off, let's start with analyzing the ability by itself. When Super Jump was originally conceived, it was intended as a movement ability, as faster alternative to get to high places without wall-running (This is how most players saw it, regardless of the fact that Super Jump was in the game first) . This is the way it was shown in the Excalibur Profile video, and also the way most players view it.
