I should honestly put these blogs up a little sooner rather than a few days later when something new comes out, but whatever. Better late than never, I suppose.
Operation: Tubemen of Regor[]
So, more Grineer being made, difference being that they're being made through tubes by the new and improved Tyl Regor. Pretty sure we're all familiar with the community concept enemy, Manic. Well, now we have another Stealthy McFastGuy. Seems like it'll be an interesting addition, and I do mean that considering it's not an actual Bombard – mostly because it doesn't have the annoying rocket launcher on top of being able to teleport, because that sounds like suicide fun.
Basically, they're just Manics with a Gorgon and seem to be quite shy and less passionate. Because nothing says love like tackling you, romantically caressing your face, to then follow up by turning it into raw patty meat to feed to your Kubrow. They do have grenades that'll split into littler grenades that'll blow up that'll hurt lots if you want to stand around too long and will teleport away from you when you get too close. I guess that's just a sign you should take a shower or something though.
They seem alright. But I suppose that's just because they haven't been introduced at a higher level yet; now that will be suicide fun.
Gradivus Dilemma 2, Dilemma Harder[]
So by opposing Regor, we side with either Nef Anyo or Alad V to help them by helping us? I guess? I mean, it's not like Regor's already finished with his super soldier fetus army anyway, so I don't even see why we have to destroy these labs. DE obviously just put this out here at a low level so they can prepare the forums for all the posts crying for nerfs about Stealthy McFastGuyWithAGun when they release him upon the starchart.
Anyway, you side with either Nef Anyo or Alad V to do their bidding because they're dangling some shiny new weapons in our faces that no one's going to be using two weeks from now, so whatever.
Dera Vandal - For those that want to side with the guy who kidnapped us while we were asleep and sell them to people to make a pet out of us.
*cough* Alad *cough*
Karak Wraith - For those that want to side with the guy that took kidnapped us and threw kidnapped us into a pile to make a pet out of and make more annoying Infested later on. Apparently he thinks his actions are forgivable enough in comparison to someone who tried to rob us while cosplaying as a fusion core. Sure Alad, I'll get you facial cream made from aborted fetuses – everyone knows they're the best remedy for break outs.
This event goes on for a bit, so have fun switching sides a bunch of times throughout the week because one of the two will have more milkshakes in their yard every few hours.
New Tileset[]
Along with this, a new tileset came out, not just any tileset, the underwater one that everyone was excited about! I'm sure some people were expecting to be able to swim around and battle wildlife in the sea or something – you know, shoot a Kraken with the Kraken. As exciting as that sounds and all, I'm contempt with just how nice this tileset looks. I just wish you could see some marine wildlife swimming around the outside of the area though, you can hear them at least.
Took my sweet time exploring the place the first few times I ran the event and whatnot, apparently there's a shower you could interact with somewhere in there (maybe now Stealthy McFastGuyWithAGun will actually give you a hug). Afterwards, ran a few missions with Brizingr5 who said you seem to copter faster while in this tileset. Now I'm not sure if she's correct or not because I don't really feel any difference coptering in there or anywhere else. Wondering if anyone else feels faster while in this tileset.
New Weapons[]
New weapons released, going to give a little input of what I think of them.
Daikyu[]
New bow. I actually didn't buy this early on mostly because it's research and didn't want to buy it outright plus it's a status rather than a crit bow, so wanted to see peoples' opinions of it too. Based on comments and characteristics on its page: Its arrows have no arc to them, arrows fly faster, you tap to charge it, it looks nice, it can't hold the charge forever, slower charge rate than other bows, putting Viral damage for the status proc makes it hit like a truck. Sounds like a nice bow, I'll probably mod it the same way I have Opticor modded since it doesn't benefit from crit that much: Lots of fire rate and lots of damage.
Atomos[]
Really good secondary weapon, haven't put a forma on it let alone even get it to 30 yet. Pretty ammo efficient, good DPS, decent range. Honestly like a Synoid Gammacor/Amprex combo; beam weapon that chains to nearby targets. Pretty sure the chaining effect doesn't have a damage drop-off either, so that's nice. Wondering how effective Seeker and Ruinous Extension could make it.
Boltace[]
Sure, it's a 
Puncture damage weapon and has the highest slide attack damage in-game, but I don't really see me using this much mostly because I use melee weapons for mobility rather than damage; I carry around Ceramic Dagger. A good balance of both is Tipedo, however. Anyway, looks nice, has good damage, a slower attack speed than Kronen though. Just recommend putting Primed Reach on it to make use of the slide attack or just attacking in general. Though Gemini Cross isn't exactly the best stance – so mostly just the slide attack.
New Dataprimed Stuff[]
So new prime gear has been datamined.
Ash Prime wasn't much of a surprise but Brizingr and I are huge fans of Vectis and I'm looking forward to (not really) putting 30+ Forma on it just to line up the name with pretty stars. Carri-*ahem* Everyone'sfavoritesentinel Prime is coming along with an old but gold Yamako Syandana too.
I'm really not sure whatever the whole "MonkeyKing" thing is though. Considering all the Asian culture put into this game, I wouldn't be surprised if it's Sun Wukong or something.
